"Go Ye Therefore & Teach All Nations....."

My buddy Don P. saw fit to enlighten me and some other friends with the Word given at the church he attended this Sunday. I was most certainly appreciative that he even considered sharing it with us. Since all my help comes from the Lord (Psalms 121:2), I welcome any positive influence or rather Iron to sharpen my own (Prov 27:17) that can be provided by my peers.  Since Don reminded me of my duty to go ye therefore and Teach all nations (Matt:28:19), I decided what better way than via the world wide web.  Read it and hopefully you can find some way to apply it . God Bless <3

Here are my notes from church today...I hope that they are somehow
useful and encouraging.

Love you all,
DonP

Genesis 2:4-7

4 These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they
were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the
heavens,
5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every
herb of the field before it grew: for the LORD God had not caused it
to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
6 But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face
of the ground.
7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed
into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

The key word that is looked at here is DUST.

Goes on to talk about the properties of dust...

Dust is less than dirt...even dirt has substance and can be shaped and
molded into form, but dust...

Think about when you are cleaning...often times when you dust, you end
up spreading more than you gather...and then it most likely settles
right back where you cleaned it from...

When you think about dust it has no substance...it is not at useful,
yet it is what God chose to create man from...

Not only are we made from dust, but we are worth much more than
dust...because of God's gift of life-His life...

What makes this special is that in spite of, God breathed into us His
breath...it made our worthlessness so very valuable...

He was letting us know that there is a greater destiny to which we are
called...

How awesome is God to create from dust something so miraculous of a
creature...no other creature did God breathe into His breath of life...

How great Thou art...

God took nothing and made something...

Had it not been for His love, we would still be useless, substanceless
dust...

With God, ALL things are possible...

Thanks Don P! ^_^
